Remember, California just passed a law last year allowing cops to cite driverless vehicles; it goes into effect in July. Other cities need to do the same. We are putting the technology horse way before the regulatory cart, and need to reverse that immediately before driverless cars hit the highways.

As long as cops are allowed to write citations with teeth and penalties for infractions by Waymo vehicles, and that company leaders are held accountable for a large number of infractions the way citizens can be.
