Will this just install Plasma and drivers, or will it also set a sane default config for desktop users? In 14.x, configuring FreeBSD so KDE's file manager could do normal things like mount CDs and thumb drives took several manual steps.

A fork by the recently-most-active maintainer seems worth covering even if you predict it won't attract a critical mass of additional contributors.
At the very least, lack of major institutional backers should be no demerit as community projects are the heart and soul of open source.

Finally created a Bluesky account specifically to follow you. I still main Facebook, but X is decent actually if I keep following my rule from the Before Times: "Twitter is for hobbies, not politics" (because sound-byte culture has always been toxic).
