Morning, Womble! All of my library holds came at the same time again. How does this always happen? I’ve started Tourist Season by Brynne Weaver as my audiobook and The Everlasting by Alix Harrow for my ereader. And several other audiobooks that I may or may not get to this week.

One day a skink showed up in our living room. What followed was a hysterical scene of my kids with poster boards as we tried to herd the skink to the door from its snug hiding place under the sofa. The lizard finally made it into the wilds of our backyard.

Rosebud and I had a great time wandering around Carytown this week. I’ve spent more time near VCU and VMFA, so it was great wandering around a new area. Plus we had some delicious crepes!

So cool!
