Some more face practice, this time with her hair tied back so you can see her face's shape more clearly. A big improvement over the last one, I think, but still kinda flat and awkward looking. I guess neutral expression, front-facing portraits will do that lol

One aspect of Rynne's design I want to nail down is her facial structure - I picture her having a defined jawline and prominent chin, but feel like I've failed to convey that consistently. In my last drawing of her especially her chin was far too wide - this is closer to how I imagine her.

At last, my entry for @witchetyslug.bsky.social's DTIYS challenge is finally done! I knew I needed to draw her hot beholder woman the moment I first saw her, and when I was finally able to work on her, I couldn't stop. This was such a blast - I hope I've done her justice 🖤

In the Pokemon games, damage is calculated as an integer capped at 65,535, which means with a very specific setup, a Basculegion can use Last Respects against an Abra and overflow the damage just enough to do only 2 damage, failing to KO the Abra.
