Seriously, go and try it for yourself. Even when using the Japanese ｢東方｣ instead of "Touhou", official games won't show up in the search list UNLESS you enable Japanese language in search settings, or deselect all languages so no filters are applied.

Ever since getting into Touhou, I have been unable to read the word "gap" the same way. Even in otherwise completely ordinary contexts, the internal association my brain makes with this word is now completely broken.

At this point, Normal runs of Touhou 7/PCB and 11/SA have become something of a chill, low-stakes experience for when I don't want something too stressful (the former more than the latter, but I digress).
It's nice when you hit a 1-Miss + 0.75 Billion score PB just chilling out (Game Sound only).

Also, shoutouts to "one year to the date" of getting into this series with the game that started it all for me.
Who knew that getting a tapestry of Yukari would lead me to playing the game where the literal Yukari shottype was the most default option without even realising it? This must be fate.

So, I just finished OneShot...
One goal as part of my prep towards a Lunatic 1cc clear in Subterranean Animism has been to capture Satori's variant of Yukari's "Wave-Particle Duality" spellcard. Since I consistently mess up the safespot, I've decided instead to learn the attack honourably.
I think I'm finally getting there.

On my way to overcoming Lunatic Difficulty in TH11/Subterranean Animism, Orin stood in my way of progressing to Stage 6 with a barrage of utter nonsense. Resources basically depleted, what I end up pulling off is the biggest clutch that I can only describe as "playing out of my mind".

If we're ignoring Sin & Punishment, then Space Invaders Extreme 2 on the DS probably weighs in, which I got hooked on for quite some time. Probably the first shmup where I sat down and really tried to improve and work out its mechanics. 1cc all routes was doable. No-miss? Not a hope.

Sat down and did one of these touhou sorters properly (No PC-98).
Not surprised by many, though Keine/Mokou being so high is definitelty due to Fantasy Maiden Wars. Junko/Hecc tied as the Top 10 Gatekeepers also feels incredibly apt.
Softspot towards Yuugi as my 1st in-game stonewall. She's cool!

One of two wonderful tapestries of Yukari Yakumo by @cocoillust.bsky.social that arrived recently. Being able to easily hang up and change wall-mounted tapestries is one of the biggest reasons I prefer them over regular prints or posters.

"Wait, Momiji's non-spell attack from MoF in Fantasy Maiden Wars is called "No-Shot" because the main part of the attack looks like a の (romanised as "no"), not because it's based on a non-spell."
