So gods help us but the late Feb wedding dahlias are going berzerk and blooming like crazy. As perennials (bulbs actually), I do think that this means there will be a new holiday tradition at the NZ Conger household.

This year my # 2 is in Spain spending her first Christmas without the whanau. We made her an 'advent calendar' with 25 gifts, little messages of family and love.

@pepperraccoon.com today was the first day and I'd genuinely forgotten, but I inaugurated the calendar with one of your round boi pins!
A messy pile laid out on a leather seat which includes: green tissue paper, a small piece of paper with the number 1, a button which says ROCK PAPER SCISSORS LIZARD SPOCK, a beautiful enamel pin of a takahe and a call out shouting ROUND BOI! Finally, there is a hand written note that says in hard to read cursive, "Welcome to your Christmas advent calendar. So, just what IS the American hemisphere? Is it the Western Hemisphere or the Northern one? Or is it both and the US 'neighbourhood' asserted by their leadership is 3/4s of the planet.

Not a bad idea for #PokemonGo players though not confident this is the last day before the level changes. So far no sign of it.
