I guess it's why I hear people buying new cars so they can depend on something. I guess I'm lucky in that I can fix most issues myself and always have other old vehicles to get me to work and so far they haven't all broken at once :P

I mean, same for me, but that would then mean I'd be spending almost as much time on public transport as I do working, and I imagine a lot of other people are in that situation too, but only have one vehicle and therefore stress a lot when it needs repair.

I wish public transit was a viable option for me. I guess if you live and work places well-connected it's OK though.
