I resigned from my job and I got super into plants! This pothos was gifted to me by someone at work and it's a clone of one she has. Hoping to let it grow and clone my own! It's even sprouting another little guy already

Exactly ! This is exactly what I do. Because yeah I still want that extra income its helps me a lot, but I have so many things I love to do, and also just drawing for myself matters a lot too. I get burnt out if I only work for others.

I agree, there is complexity to commissions. You shouldn't one and done your price. My slots getting full consistently is absolutely my sign to up my prices. Then again I am aware my commission prices are the barrier of persuasion to make me consider sacrificing my free time after work.
