AUKUS is a huge mistake for Australia’s future. The astronomical cost will burden generation of Australians and there is no guarantee that we will end up with any submarines, ultimately we will be at the whim of a dangerous and declining USA. We need to take back our defence sovereignty.

While the U.S. ramps up attacks on queer and gender rights, my local council (City of Maribyrnong) just put up a massive Progress Pride flag on the public library. A bold reminder that visibility matters and we’re not backing down. Small wins like this keep hope alive. #LGBTQRights #ProgressPride
