Took a trip down to my nearest #Warhammer store to try and pick up the Mini of the Month, but apparently, they go really fast... they were all gone yesterday within two hours... so I made the trip worth it by picking up a few models while I wait for my Combat patrol box to arrive.

Just played my first mock #warhammer40k game with the #necron models I've painted and a whole load of proxies. And while it was one heck of headache trying to remember all the different things, it was really fun. I'll definitely have to get a whole army together for future games!

Imotekh, The Stormlord awakens the ancient defender obelisks to once again repel those who would encroach apon his land.
I had a blast painting these Convergence Of Dominion models! I tried dry bushing one these, and boy, do I think it turned out good!

Obelisks of destruction loom over the battlefield, pulsing with ancient energy. Crumbling facades of stone reveale the Necron technology underneath, ready to strike any who pass too close.
I've got my next model set I'm going to work on, and these are the biggest models I've done yet.

Despite not having power today, I was able to finish up these #AdeptusMechanicus Skitarri Rangers. These took soooooo much longer that the Necrons and I made so many mistakes while I was painting because of all the details... but man was is fun 😄

Welp... I didn't wake up to a cold, dark house like I thought I would... but I'm eating breakfast in one 😅. Power just went out. It's been super windy this morning, so I expect a branch or tree fell on a line. Funny enough, I think it was around this time last year that I didn't have power, too.. 🤔

I'm painting up this unit of Skitarii rangers, and I don't know if it's just the time of the year or what.. but they all look like Santa's little attack squad 🤣 and those aren't purity seals. They are naughty and nice lists 🤣

Welp, this ice storm is really testing my roof... and it's making me realize I need to find an arborist in my area who is able to clear tree branches over houses... a massive branch just broke and slammed into my roof. There is a decent dent, but it's still holding.

Welp. I just wrapped up my first consulting job. I was unfortunately not able to completely hit the client's goals within my alloted time... but I did get pretty close. I just hope the client is happy with the results.

USPS just failed to deliver a package that is already 2 weeks late because it got lost in transit... and I was home when they "attempted" the delivery... I never once saw a divery vehicle even go down my road... 🙄 I hope it finally shows up tomorrow.

Ancient beings, from days long since past, stir from their slumbering crypts. I was able to get ahold of a necron warrior and paint kit. I still did them in my own way, and I'm really getting into paint minis!
