On the topic of comms we've just got bone conducting headsets and you can't even tell I've got 6 people talking in my ear and I can hear everyone talk to me in person perfectly which is proper weird and fun.

I found a second hand Vortex Tab90M a few years ago and still love it to bit. The layout is great for me (I want everything, but smaller), and the M variant is solid metal, if anyone breaks in that's genuinely the first thing I'm going for it's so bloody solid.

I find it very funny that the one bit of Crossrail testing I got to do and was super hyped for (seeing if Paddington can cope with turning around 24tph when the GWML falls over) is now just a weekly occurrence.
Still gutted I never got to do a tunnel evac.
