Over the last two seasons, did a steady stream of injuries actually lift the floor of this team's depth?
Or to put it another way: Are we better this year because we were so hurt last? Because backups got so much experience?

I've had similar experiences, every time I have an IRL casual conversation with a developer, the mood just takes on such a different sobering mood, a quite exhaustion.

I feel like this sentiment, when applied to writing, or art, is more apparent. But it affects coding as too. I love the creative side of coding. It's the most enjoyable part to me. So I feel resistance to using LLMs, even if it might make it quicker, because I don't wanna lose that skill/experience.

I've found myself a bit surprised when I hear people say they `wouldn't code without AI assistance now`. It a good reminder for me that people brains work differently, and that goes for with coding as well.

There's been a few times, when i finally got it work after wrestling with it for awhile, and though... "Would this have just been quicker if i'd done it myself? 😵💫".
So it's moment like this I find myself using it less and less. And with very contained small use-cases.

That being said, I do use it. And it is useful in many use-cases. But "AI coding" with a broad brush deserves criticism. And, we also shouldn't ignore the new problems it creates.

But I feel like there's this huge undercurrent of criticism you don't get enough...
It's frustrating, misleading, quality of life sucking, not that helpful and I'm very skeptical of the quality of success people are championing.
