Happy Caturday from the sweet boy Hans
I can't believe it's 20 years since I rode out Hurricane Katrina in Gulfport, MS. I didn't know at the time that decision would be a major life changing one or stick with me for the rest of my life.

I'm experimenting with an autopot / coco setup in my garden. I'm getting bigger, faster growing plants than I got in soil with manual watering. I've never had roots grow through the fabric pots before either! I was trying to use what I have already, but I'll need to factor in root control next time

My puppy cat Hans. I've never had a cat as affectionate as him. Follows me around the house. Uses me as furniture as much as he wants. His motto is Always Be Cuddling #caturday

I think about how 20 years later my great aunt's old house is still surrounded by 6 or 7 "empty" plots. I say "empty" because most look like they had something there long ago. Beautiful beach front properties that never rebuilt. Frozen in 2005 like this one

Learning to grow my own medical has been very rewarding. Gardening is a great hobby for my mental health and I can do it year round with grow tents indoors. The harvest also helps my mental health!

We got some bad news about my little guy Riley Meowgi today. We took him to the vet because his appetite disappeared. They found a large mass in his abdomen. We're going to get imaging to make sure but it doesn't look good. 💔😭
