My concern is about some people sitting comfortably in Washington DC, or other Western capitals. They think their electorate will believe the Kremlin spin, therefore better reduce support for Ukraine or the Baltics, because supporting a “vague threat far from home” is a vote-loser.

I trust that NATO leaders now accept that procrastination in the face of Russia’s usual empty threats is a weak strategy and that more weapons, more troops and more proactive action is needed to defeat Russia.
