This fact terrifies me

When United fans came down last year I got speaking to one who said that ‘Londoners are all minted’. We do have food poverty in our back yard but we are perceived, as a capital club, to hold power over the rest of the country. We have a duty to ensure we don’t punch down to a marginalised city

N5 is a very mixed neighbourhood with some absolutely minted people but some severe deprivation as well. I would know as I lived right on the border of two differing places. Million pound houses round the corner but a food bank as well.

I’m a trade unionist and socialist so don’t be surprised that i find it abhorrent we chanted that and that scousers (or anyone for that matter) don’t deserve such shit behaviour.
