It is flying! I wouldn’t go so far as to say that Global Airlines operated today’s Hi Fly Malta flight #PY994, but at least 9H-SUN was sporting their colours. She was a bit shy though.

It’s been a short night in #OSL, which is a sweet spot for cheap C class tickets. Technically my current trip to Asia begins here. Even with the feeder flights needed and the extra night at a hotel it is cheaper than a nonstop flight from Berlin.

Las Palmas #airport has grown significantly over the past years. To an extent where is seems too big, at least during shoulder season. The planes depicted and the fact that #LPA has a viewing deck indicate in which decade the main terminal was built. #avgeek #GranCanaria

Gave away my aisle seat in row 10 upon check-in when offered the last window seat. Turns out views in row 32 on #4Y302 are just as good as in row 11 on Ryanair.
But the inflight entertainment had a great ARTE documentary about the golden age of #aviation. Recommend!

Gave away my aisle seat in row 10 upon check-in when offered the last window seat. Turns out views in row 32 on #4Y302 are just as good as in row 11 on Ryanair.

#OS736 already left #TGD with a delay. But with a tarmac stand in #VIE and a non-Schengen to Schengen transfer by bus there wasn’t even a chance to catch the next flight to Berlin. On the plus side: 250 EUR more and time for some Austrian dessert. #flightrights #avgeek #paxex

The old days of Titograd airport are long gone, except for the airport code #TGD and the old tower. #Podgorica airport is now a small but modern airport. One where you can walk to your plane. Love it.

When planning a same day return flight it’s wise to book back-to-back tickets so that a (e.g. weather related) delay of the inbound flight won’t cause trouble with your outbound flight. Besides, you’ll love the look of the crew when you board the direct return. #ZAG #MUC #LH1727

#Vienna has a minimum connecting time of 30mins between an incoming non-Schengen and an outgoing Schengen flight. Quite challenging, even under good conditions (early arrival/front seat/fast immigration and security) when your inbound flight has a tarmac position.
