It reminds me of anyone’s home when they go WAY overboard with any theme. Be it floral, crafty, modern or gaudy as gold everywhere. It’s sad.

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy had some awesome social commentary. Comparing politicians to Lizards that no one likes but keeps voting them in…..because that is what you do is something that rolls through my brain unchecked.

I don’t think it is ONLY a masculine trait but I am a man(not according to my father in law.lol) so I see things from that perspective. That isn’t wrong on its face it just speaks to the limits of my abilities. We are not all omnipotent.

What we take out of an experience tells us/you more about us than the experience. That is what makes art so important and wonderful.

Horrible people will do horrible things regardless of movies. We all take out of art what we perceive and what we perceive is based on who we are. An awful tragedy can be motivating, horrifying or sobering, etc based on who we are. There are no universal experiences.

Being useful is part of some of our make-up. If you are already self reliant why do you need us? Once in a while it isn’t about your weaknesses but ours. Let us help. Letting someone help you isn’t always a sign of your weakness but ours. Be gentle.

I was raise by very strong independent women. (My mom and grandmother). We (some men) just want to help. It isn’t always meant to be nefarious or demeaning.

Idk about hurting women. That pains me. I liked it for the action and violence against other men but I also didn’t recognize the violence against women and maybe that is its own issue but the last time I watched I was 20yo and I was more ignorant to many things

So he says it’s bad when they do something only to then use it as justification for other bad behavior? I just cannot reconcile that type of thinking. Do you have any character at all?

I’m no finance expert but it seems that many companies prioritize the appearance of growth over stability, quality and service to appease stock holders whom many times are part time contributors to the company that is trying to appease them. Put your workers and quality ahead of “growth” and maybe.
