Honorable mention: James Hilton's 'Lost Horizon' (1933) which was made into a film once but all successive attempts to reboot it, and there have been like six, were cursed and doomed (including mine.)

Of course should 3IATLAS gravity trigger catastrophic earthquakes and vulcanism during its closest pass to earth, wiping us out, feel free to say I was an idiot. Because then it is intelligent design and a reboot of an experiment (us) gone really wrong.

I'm going to be a contrarian and say this phenomenon, if true, is actually evidence *against* intelligent design. Millions of natural comets doing this, zipping around the galaxy and seeding life makes sense. This is just our 2nd, redundant, pass since last time 13 billion years ago.
