Homer's Enemy is a great episode for many reasons but an overlooked one is that it has one of the funniest B stories the show has ever had. Bart owning a factory rocks and the way they reference it when Grimes comes over for dinner is great.

Season 8 of the Simpsons is much more up and down than people remember. It's still firmly a classic scene but it shows the strain of maintaining a create spark over 20+ episodes, and how impressive it wad that they were able to do so for so many years.
