Bats look lively, but 1-9 we are working the pitcher. Seeing lots of pitches and making them work to get outs. IMO it’s what made the ‘24 team so good.

Red state History and Economics teacher here…yeah, it is surreal. I find myself asking folks “do you want me to explain economically why that is a bad idea, or do you want an example from history where we already learned why that’s a bad idea??”

I was teaching on Zoom and had NBC on in the background as my kids worked through problems. Started having kids ask me “what are they doing?” And “What is happening?” Watched the entire thing in real time, all while fielding questions from curious and confused 9th graders. Was surreal…
