Here is the URL for the Website Environment.

Converting from Gaussian Splats to USDZ is a messy process, so there are a ton of artifacts. Still, it is kind of fun to watch videos in this environment.

While the ramp of adoption for visionOS is long, interest remains very high.

I went to check the schedule of these events a few days ago, and registration for the NY developer event had already closed.

Does Congress have a plan to determine if any of the data has been tampered with or withheld?

For example, is there a master list of everything seized that pre-dates the current, pretty corrupt DOJ?

Are there digital fingerprints for the digital data to make sure none of has been modified?

A $120 price target?

Down from its current price of $404?

It seems that Wells Fargo is predicting a 70% drop in Tesla’s stock price.

I would think the article would spend a bit more time on that.

Xbox console was already struggling. This may be the knockout blow.

Military families, who will probably be far more anti-socialist than other voter groups, live very socialist lives.

The base commander’s children go to the same schools and played in the same sports teams and bands as the lowest enlisted members kids do.

Commissaries, doctor visits… all the same.

With Apple significantly growing its services revenue per user, growing its user base with lower cost hardware makes a lot more sense than it did 10 years ago.

A common theory I hear is that Apple doesn't want to encourage regular people to buy the Apple Vision Pro right now until Apple, developers, & creators can figure out strong use cases and create content.

Apple Immersive Video end-to-end tooling is just now coming out.

Pre-release? Amazon is showing that it won't be released until Nov 4.

I think of LLMs as lossy compression of the Internet.

They perform well at finding & rephrasing stuff that is already out there, especially if there is a lot of relevant content and not contradictory content.

E.g., ChatGPT usually suggests *deprecated* SwiftUI APIs and not the newer APIs. Grrr.

Maybe in a month or so I may be looking to contract for some low-poly environments, preferably in Blender. Do you know of good sites that lists artists, shows some examples of their works, and provides price estimates?

I don’t even know what I should be budgeting for. $100, $500, $1000, …?
