Clase’s hit 6 dudes in 320 career appearances. He’s not a head hunter. If anything he should hit a few more so they’re not leaning over the plate to hit his slider. Still the up and in is pretty scary.

I’m going to miss Tyler Freeman, but going to Colorado is a great spot for him and his career, big outfield, positional flexibility, speed, he’ll thrive there.

I’ve seen a hundred bad MLB comps for this Luka trade, but none worse than saying it’s like trading Witt for JRam. Luka (young, temperamental, can’t stay in shape) for AD (aging, often hurt, never reached full potential): Vlad Jr. for Stanton.

I know the Gimenez trade will be unpopular and I get it, but this is precisely why Cleveland stays competitive throughout the years despite a low payroll. Trade a player from an organizational position of strength at his highest value. It makes total sense, even if it kind of sucks.
