P1a had a fantastic Literacy morning! We were reading our homework books to our Puppet friends and we recited our Scottish Poem 'Wee Willie Winkie' to get ready for Burns Day. Great job P1a!

The ELCC had a visit from trainee vet Paula and she showed the children the importance of hand washing! She showed the children animal CPR to the tune of Golden and how to apply bandages and use a stethoscope.

Yesterday, P2b were learning all about their senses. We used our sense of smell to try to guess 'the different flavour of crisps!'. We then had an extra challenge to guess the sweetie. Everyone used their sense of taste, touch, smell and sight to complete our STEM challenge!

P1a have started their Length Numeracy Topic! We were using cubes as non-standard units of measure, to estimate and record measurements of objects in our classroom, including our friends! We also created playdough caterpillars that were 'longer' and 'shorter'. It was a great afternoon!
