The manipulator is an aristocrat with stag horns and sun aspects and his brother is a lion with moon aspects.

Sometimes the compositions you daydream about don’t translate so well on to paper

If I did it right, I’m sure it’d really add to the atmosphere, but if I do it wrong it’ll ruin the whole thing 😵‍💫

I can see myself being able to do it in graphite, but I’m not super sure about pen…

I’ve been so busy the past few months that I couldn’t even think about drawing anything, but I recently failed so hard at my exams that I needed to do something fun for once 😵‍💫

I’m definitely rusty, but I hope that doesn’t last too long!

The tone of this drawing feels like it should be on the lighter, energetic side for sure, so the shark adds a fun touch!

I’ve always wanted to try refractions, but it definitely seems difficult…

I love the shark too, but I really can’t decide if it works with the piece or not :/

I’m also thinking about adding a refraction pattern like the bottom of a pool, but that could easily ruin it…

I’m hoping it goes somewhere, but right now it’s just not clicking the way good compositions do for me…

Getting ideas out for a larger project. Done with a Muji ballpoint pen and a sharpie. The Muji pens are better than some fineliners that cost three times as much. Very nice but I think I still prefer the humble BIC.

Well, I don’t mind being compared to others more if it’ll get me a curve on the midterms I screwed up 🥰

But apart from that, it’s not conducive to a particularly healthy learning environment, for sure…

Something something any attempt to objectively measure intelligence is inevitably warped by systemic and socioeconomic variables or something

Therefore, if I get bad grades in my classes it’s actually less reflective of abilities and more reflective of wider problems endemic to our society
