Most of the time, I use 3d just as a guideline for drawing. As in the case of this shoulder pad, there was a good base for the overpaint, so i decided just paint on top of it. But yes, I truly understand how difficult it is happened to fit into a painting style

I searched for armor plates on Sketchfab and attempted to position them correctly. But still had to refine a lot according to book schemes

Yeah, it was quite a challenge also! But I was obsessed with trying to depict exactly this angle ahaha In the end, glad I didn't give up, because the result was worth it 🤔
