Mini turned 5 today. Half a decade of madness completed, many more to come. Parenting is difficult and exhausting but also pretty awesome. She is now asleep and I'm celebrating (everything) with a beer while my wife is editing photos from the birthday party. One of them below.

3 weeks in Sweden have passed, 3 more to go before returning to Japan. One thing I really appreciate about being here (besides escaping the scorching Tokyo summer) is how slow life is. Picking berries, lakeside swimming, countryside cabin life. It's a different kind of luxury.

Thanks everyone who tuned in to my kamakura walk earlier today. I used some of the superchat money to try "draft tea" for the first time. I thought it was a gimmick but it was actually better than expected. Especially when mixed with a splash of gin, which I of course opted for.
