⭐️1st update after starting new job⭐️

Since last time:
🛠️ updated systems
🐞 bug fixes
🖌️ FINALLY worked on UI!

There's still a lot to do, but the core of the game is here!
I think the first playable version of this should be up Soon™ 😁

Added Workshop and weapon tiers (wood -> stone -> iron).

It’s been 2 weeks, and the core mechanics are done 🥳
Next up: VISUALS! 🎨

Worked on the duck fight logic

Here’s the full game loop:
☀️ Day – assign jobs, collect resources, build & prepare for the night
🌙 Night – defend the colony from enemies and invaders
📜 Daily Report – see how resources changed, enemies defeated, and any loss

Ducks now have night defense roles to guard the colony once the sun goes down

Now that the RTS selection and unit movement are done! I can move onto the Night phase. What’s that?

Ducks will have 2 roles:
☀️ Day - gather resources & build tools
🌙 Night - defend the colony from invaders

Spawning ducks now costs food and require capacity. Houses increase capacity.

Worker count is now capped by the ducks available.
There are still a few edge cases in the job assignment system, but it’s almost done

After 14 months, I’ve decided to stop being jobless. Starting a new job in 2 weeks.
