A blue Hobart A-120, 12 quart stand mixer originally built in 1948 sits on a white countertop with bins of dried red and green peppers behind it. The mixer has been fully rebuilt and restored to working condition.

When I found my current cat (he wandered into my back yard at 6 months old and under 3lbs) I immediately thought he was part Maine Coon.

Then I got him tested because I can't see genetics with my own eyes. Turns out I was right (13% MC, 12% NFC) but it could have just as easily gone the other way.

It's going to freeze tonight so it was time to bring in the final harvest from my raised garden bed. I may have let it grow a tad bit wild.
A 2 foot diameter bowl is overfilled with sweet peppers, with several mostly unripe roma tomatoes on the right side and several bunches of ripe cherry tomatoes in the center. The bowl is a colorful feast of bright reds and greens with some yellow and orange spotted throughout.
