In our mid-60s household there were two first editions; SILENT SPRING and UNSAFE AT ANY SPEED. Clearly important they were prominently displayed on the family room bookshelf.

A very fine mica (powder like) that has been dyed. BE VERY CAREFUL when using (mask, ventilation, eye cover, and clean up). When the ink is wet dust over the print with the powder and then let dry. Clean using erasing crumbs to remove from the non-inked paper and discard.
