Step down pay for faculty admins is another one. Especially weird in situations where it's effectively permanent step down pay.

Pay disparities for the same job just because the subject is different. A TT Asst Prof with a research and service requirement and a 2:2 can make 48k in the Ed dept and 250k in the Econ dept. Imagine if Meta paid the Facebook devs 5x what they pay Instagram devs with the same duties and seniority.
