NotebookLM is possibly the most underrated AI chatbot.
Do you have any pro tips for advanced use?
I love working with it.

I tried the new Samsung Galaxy S25 phones. And I don't know if AI assistants are a feature anyone wants. Do you see yourself talking to this thing and relying on it?

I can see talking to it while driving or getting ready in the morning. But I don't know how many uses it actually has.

Helped a new colleague with onboarding today.

Turns out it's a lot more fun than waterboarding.

And that is not the only difference between our office and CIA black sites.

We also have sweets in the kitchen!

Sorry, its a bad joke. Its Monday.

Hackers Stole the Slovak Land Registry's Database On Tuesday.
The office which holds the ONLY proof of property ownership in this country, seems not even to have a proper backup :)

This is unreal.

I’ve been trying to use the Remarkable tablet for weeks. And i can’t figure out, what is it actually for? What are you guys doing with the notes? Can’t copy them, can’t really search them. The cursive to print conversion is unusable, as is my handwriting. The app is weird. Please help.

As @beccafarsace.bsky.social said, point-n-shoots are coming back and I already got mine - the Canon g10. Since I became obsessed with it, I decided to share a couple of thoughts about it on my blog: www.tomashrivnakphotography.com/blog/2024/12...

If you can't tell your "story”, you probably won't convince anyone that what you want to do is worthwhile.

If you can tell stories, and also have expertise, that's the best.

This is what a Slovak entrepreneur in SF, Jakub Jurových told me during our recent interview. And I think it’s inspiring.

Reasons Why I think people like Bluesky right now:

1️⃣ Chronological feeds are satisfying, because you can reach their end.
2️⃣ It doesn't suppress news content, hide link previews, and or penalize links to outside websites.
4️⃣ Its not owned by Elon Musk, or META, and some people like it that way.
