We had a glorious run of our new musical, The Glasgow Poisoner at Òran Mór last week. Great cast, brilliant tech team. Next we tour to Paisley Town Hall (Tues 7th - Fri 10th Oct, 1pm daily) then the Gaiety Theatre Ayr (Wed 15th - Fri 17th, 12pm and 6pm daily): pies and pints incl at every venue.

Some of you know that I've wanted to write a musical forever. Some of you know of my lifelong obsession with the Madeleine Smith case. This autumn I get to make this musical with @tomcoop.bsky.social & @samuelmacdonald.bsky.social for @playpiepint.bsky.social and I cannot wait!

A double Sondheim day for me yesterday: HERE WE ARE at the National (fascinating ideas, doesn't work as a whole) then THE FROGS at Southwark Playhouse (great songs but well choreographed, tedious scenes in Act 2). Both a bit of a slog in the end, as is this very delayed train back to Glasgow.
