That's fine, it just doesn't contradict what I am saying. Let's say you take a mortgage to buy a house, don't pay on time (but eventually pay) and then sell the house. It's unlikely that you will get a new mortgage from a bank, right? So your credit behavior is being monitored.

Of course you have, it's just not formalized into a numeric values that you can monitor frequently like in the USA. But by the end of the day, some people in Europe have access to loans and others do not, right? because your credit "health" is still measured by lenders
