Great piece Ned. I saw the images from Russ Ellis on his Insta and felt a strong sense of optimism. The riders looked so happy, relieved maybe, but ultimately proud of their achievements. No politicians, dignitaries, awkward sponsors. Jonas, Tom and João looked happy, that gave me joy.
