Sure enough, Mūzelik Café is the place used in the book nook! www.instagram.com/p/B7784NNgyrq/

Eventually my extremely clever friend googled the photographer's name with 'cafe visit', and found this photo somewhere with very similar brick work. Look at the little blackboard on the right...

BUT - the photo has no GPS metadata. So where was it from? There now followed many questions to reverse image search engines, chatGPT, etc etc.. Brands of coffee machines... Segafredo coffee places, looking at reflections in the metal, and so on...

This Parisian arcade appears to be selling Gazoz, a delicious but **very Turkish** fizzy drink...

This is one of the many little panels that sits behind a window. Look more closely...

This is a Book Nook. A delightful Christmas present, currently being assembled by my kids. It's a flat-packed delightful Parisian-style shopping arcade, confusingly titled 'Arcade Dating'... But that's **not** what's odd about it...

Cannot believe I have to see a sign about “happy floofs” instead of “Home of the Croydon Spaceport”

Calibrating one of these every morning at 10am because the band promised they were going to have an early start, after going to bed at 2am

Redhill library. Closed due to RAAC concrete. Replaced with a unit in a shopping centre. Now closed without warning and replaced with a cardboard cutout of Will Ferrell. No explanation on their website, just a complete dereliction of service for a town.

BBC you’re encoding your dashes all wrong, and you’re optimistic if you think I’m going to watch all 33 years of that, it was bad enough the first time round… Also, it wasn’t me watching it was my son and god knows why he’s watching Colin Baker episodes instead of the Dalek eps I suggested #kids
