I think some of the new mixes, e.g., Sgt Pepper and tracks from Please Please Me are a good way to hear the Beatles in stereo/headphones, which was much needed, and for me they work pretty well. Others (Abbey Road and the examples you give) didn't need fixing.

I went back to listen to those two, and it's fair that they are not great. I think it's forgivable as the old versions are still available, but it's a shame that the best original mixes (e.g. mono) aren't always as easy to find and in the future these might come to be the versions of record...

The red album remixes seem to share the same function as the Sgt Pepper one, and they seem pretty useful in the same way.

Making progress with THeVerb, and it's now at version 0.2. Now with improved UI and new options for gain matching.

The latest very short demo (<1 min) shows one of it's most distinctive features, detailed sound source localization. Listen with headphones!

Maybe at some point but I am targeting PC users initially. But if there's sufficient demand, I will look into it. Thanks for your interest!

If I Had A Harem - Prince (Live)

I saw Prince twice in London, and I am pretty sure he did a carbon copy of this, although my memory's a bit hazy - the original concert was cancelled and I had to wait another year. Prince was utterly amazing live.

One of my favourite examples from a professional band on a TV show. I dare say there are many more so follow the thread if you like it.

Holdin on to Black Metal - My Morning Jacket, Later... with Jules Holland. Fantastic engineering/camera work and editing IMO.

Another short clip, this time from Venice Beach, LA, USA. In 2013. I think we'll miss humans making music if we hand it over to the machines.

Here's the band, from Ischia Ponte, Italy who are seen in the previous photo. Everyone goes on a kind of promenade around the town on a Friday evening. The band were so good, and this is what I think music is really all about.
