Not to be a wide-eyed naïf about such things but... am I right in thinking that they levelled an entire building to get to one guy and *that* is not controversial to anyone in the American media or political class, only that this information was recklessly shared in an unsecured chat?

While the minimum wage remains at $7.75 for millions of workers in most red states, Costco will begin paying its workers $30/hour. It's time for other big companies to follow suit, and time for underpaid workers to demand a raise. #WorkingPoor

The Orange Convict and his heinous henchmen couldn't wait to blame DEI for the crash. Not so. Obama and Biden sought the BEST Air Controllers, in part by encouraging ALL races, genders, and creeds to see if they could meet the FAA's strict standards. Trump ended that. Now the FAA is short-staffed.

Good reminder. Also, it is easy to download all your photos (and even ALL your files) from FB before you DELETE your data, then cancel your account.
Those of us who've made the move from FB tell each other we miss some parts of the beast. I long for the memories section. Google Photos does that. I stumbled on this from four years ago, when we were all locked in our houses. You can play, too -- find photos on your own and post 'em.

Don't call AI bots "workers." Workers are people. AI will kill their jobs, slash household incomes, a deep global recession, and trigger the nearly incurable wave of disinflation. Think Depression. HT Axios and Mitch for getting this right. #AI #Economics #Recession
AI business leaders are talking about "AI workers" and "AI employees." But artificial intelligences aren't people — they're machines.
