So when we get the next arctic polar cold blast that brings the coldest temperatures in decades next week, the dummies will say, "see climate change is a hoax, we just set a local cold weather record for a whole week!"

That's why you don't use weather as the argument.

No they don't. I am espousing the overwhelming view of scientific community at large. Localized weather for short periods of time are not good evidence of anthropomorphic climate change or global warming.

There is good evidence. This just isn't it and leads you into stupid counterarguments.

Billy Strings is a badass, especially live. I'm seeing him in Tulsa 12/10 for the 4th time in 2 years. Great light show. Psychedelic JamGrass with some old school bluegrass tossed in.

Check out Nutshell (Alice in Chains) cover plus Wargasm. Plus lightshow. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooFM...

When you are certain to be defeated, switching to the winning side is a great survival strategy.

There's a reason over half the people in Vietnam have the last name of Nguyen.

It wasn't consensual. 16 year old children cannot consent to having sex with predators. They can't be trusted to vote, serve in the army, rent a car, or enter into contracts. He's just a sleazy sex pest like the rest.

If I was a flower going wild and free, all I want you to be is my bee
If I was a tree growing tall and green, all I want is you to shade me and be my leaves
If you were a seed, well I'd be a part
If you were a floor, I'd want to be a rug
And if you were a kiss, I know I'd be a hug

You mean they are imperfect vessels bringing good things. ;)

In the last few decades the uneducated have been fed a non-stop stream of non-sense by media telling them that minorities are taking their jobs, taking their homes, mating with their pure-bred white kids, committing crimes...

I'm not saying you need to feel sorry for them, but they are being fed.

That's part of the class war. The rich get the poor white people to blame their ills on the poor black (or hispanic, or Jewish, or Irish, or gay or whatever "other") people.

Whether it's one day or thirty or 100 in a single location, it is not compelling evidence of a global problem that requires a global solution.

There is plenty of good evidence but localized weather data for a season or two isn't it.
November 16, 2025 at 3:48 PM
And the person here was using the temperature on one day in Denver to make a case for global warming. It is absolutely not correct to infer anything about the climate or global warming from that single source of data for one specific location.
November 16, 2025 at 8:40 AM
Well I did mention Anthropogenic Global Climate Change to account for the small areas on Earth that are not necessarily experiencing warming, but overall taking all the Earth into account and the last several hundred years of data, we can see that the Earth's climate is warming in vast areas.

I don't think you read or comprehended my message.

Melting ice going on for decades over the poles is very good evidence for anthropogenic global climate change.

The weather being 80 degrees in Denver in December on one day is not good evidence for AGCC. That's weather. That's an anecdote.
