The scientists postulate whether the 3.5 micrograms/dL of lead in children's blood equaling a 3 point drop in IQ was the cause of the downfall of Rome. They go on to mention in the late 1970s children had 15.2 micrograms, 4 times the amount! Would explain the rise of MAGA and downfall of America...

Just watched the BBC dark version of a Christmas Carol. Marley's punishment is to wear a chain where each link represents a man, woman or child who died in the miserable conditions of one of their factories. It made me wonder how many links each health insurance CEO's chain will get. Pretty heavy...
