C2C has consistently been held at this time in March and Radio 2 has a partnership with the event. It's normal for them to do this. Still it's very convenient timing.
I note RM are not on the lineup this year. If they are the act it would of been good promotion to perform the song there.

UK Eurovision fans we might have to wait until the 14th of March for the Remember Monday Reveal. Interesting that Radio 2 is going big with country music. I love Country music so am happy but this just feeds into the fact I was right the UK entry for ESC is probably Remember Monday 😆🇬🇧

The Remember Monday rumour is fun for me because I saw them back in 2018 at one of the Country songwriters nights I used to attend in London. I made an OG3NE comparison at the time. They've done very well since then but I never imagined them on a Eurovision stage.
