Tabulators are more accurate. You fill in the paper ballot and put them through a tabulator. If something seems to be off you can still hand recount or do samples (1000 ballots hand counted and then run through the tabulator to make sure they match)

I doubt the race was certified. Most of these are innocent mistakes. I doubt there was fraud. It’s really difficult to add votes. I wonder if the 30,000+ votes were early votes that had yet to be counted?
