Sadly many of the U.S. are not compatible. But lots of us are and would love to ditch the others ;) aside from joining Canada it’s impossible to have New England and California in the same country if we split and remain connected. At the very least we’d need run high speed rail through Canada.

I’d move back in a minute if that happened. But I think Trump might actually go to war with California if they tried.

The U.S. not adopting the metric system drives me crazy. But combining with Canada is only way to separate red from blue here and stay contiguous. And adopting the Canadian system seems better than you adopting ours ;) would need to realign voting though.

What’s the statute of limitations? It smart not to bring any lawsuits until Trump is out of office if humanly possible. Since he will pardon any federal offenses.

Can’t disagree with you there. But it would certainly be smart politically to send out checks before the mid terms. Sounds exactly like the kid of thing Trump would do.

Gotta say that sending people checks is a good strategy. Maybe he can just do full UBI? $3k a month for everyone?

Man we would see the absolute worst laws get passed for the next two years. Possibly longer if they effectively make it more difficult to vote in blue cities.

We should move to parliamentary elections where we get non-geographical representation. Or have literally thousands of representatives to actually capture similar demographics.
