Silencing a key gene in this pathway (ahcy) enhanced the replication of dengue virus in mosquito cells.

🦠This revealed a new antiviral hub that could be targeted for vector control.

We identified the larval stage as a potential metabolic hotspot! 🐛
The methionine cycle appears to be a central metabolic hub, suggesting a high capacity for methylation. 🧬

(We even profiled the larval food!)
