I live in Viesīte, Latvia but lived and grew up in Buffalo, NY.
My partner and I founded the Latvian Dyslexia Association, and I write and edit for a big ass American IT company.

Politically, I am a bit to the left of most Americans.
Sorry.
Incomplete? Yes.
Inaccurate in what way?

I agree and that should be made explicit in the demands for coverage.
Seeing it as leaders from faith traditions counters the 'paid agitator' narrative.

Thanks. Well put.

It's like you see right through me....

I am, in good faith, trying to understand the argument. I saw a good answer (echoes yours) on another thread. Shifting the narrative from 'paid agitators' to 'people of conscience' matters.
I parry - thinking matters.

And a section on the landing page devoted to it:

That's what you take from this? Unfortunate.

Wow. I am not MAGA/Fox, yet you scream at me for asking questions?
I asked a reasonable question about an assumption. If you don't want to have a conversation, feel free to block me.

Same question as above. Why does this require mainstream coverage?
I talk daily with a friend in Minneapolis and he talks about the masses of people, never about faith leaders.

Thanks.
Why that? Why don't articles about the whole event suffice or bring the point home? Faith, to me, isn't a significant part of the story. Why do you see it as key?

Thanks. I am that old too.
I, admittedly, sit in another country, but I see this pretty front and center in all USA media and much non-USA media.

Ok. I want to be with you, but, I see pieces in the NYT, ABC and more. What would satisfy you?
