4 is actually perfect, at least for my basic machine. The computer is still useable, and the number doesn't speed up too much after that, the lagging it introduces slows down the refreshing, also it seems not every refresh and doubling is (are?) counted.

I did this on a low power Chromebook, just to get the pic really, was at 1 FPS getting the screenshot thing open. I have divided my efforts by 16 since, so I can now use it again. I will never surpass you, and I'm at peace with that.

There was a twitter account called Stealth Mountain that used to reply "I think you mean sneak peek" to any tweet with the phrase sneak peak. Only reply bot that gets a pass from me.
