Bill O’Dea and I joined the procession from the Shree Satyanarayan Dham temple on Kennedy Blvd through India Square celebrating the message of love and unity. We stopped along the route to see old friends and meet some new ones (Arjumand gave me some good selfie tips too)

Tremendous day on Sunday supporting Bike JC and the annual Jersey City Ward Tour! The TZCA dedicated itself each of the last several years to advocating for families& children; and no better way to do that than by supporting this event and committing to creating safer streets.

I was proud to stand with the men and women of organized labor at Wednesday’s Council meeting in support of a project at 701 Newark Ave. The project guarantees 25% affordable housing (90 units) with rents ranging from $975 for a studio to $1386 for a 2BR, and with 100% union labor

Suited up going from the courtroom to the community! As the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close in the coming days, Arjumand and I wanted to do something to support our neighbors at the mosques on Montgomery Avenue and Chopin Court by helping clean up the streets during prayers.

We had a great time marching in the St Patrick’s Day Parade! Every step we took and neighbor we greeted was a reminder that we’re fighting for a better Ward C, a better Jersey City, where it’s safe and clean to walk, ride, and travel on every road for you, your family, or your dog.
