Somewhere around 2000-01 my brother and I were into the Pokemon tcg and he wanted to try the cooler, more mature game. We bought a 2 player starter kit. I got the white/blue deck and he had the red/green one. Thought Vizzidrix was the coolest thing ever (it is). 24+ years later, and here I still am.

I’ve only seen one shiny so far. It was a Delibird and it flew away before I could even toss a ball 😭😭

My wife and I were so mad when Olsen got bumped off the A team for Fox by Brady.

Nantz and Romo are by far the best.

Then probably Torico and Collinsworth, Burkhardt and Brady, Michaels and Herbstreit, and finally Buck and Aikman.

My favorite tends to fluctuate based on whatever deck I’m building, but I think this friend will always be at the top of the fondness pile. I learned to play with the Starter 1999 product with my brother and I just adored this specific card from that set, so it’s always a perennial favorite ❤️

I literally built two decks out of my kit. Had a pretty fun Grixis villains deck all ready to go, but gave my WG a second look, and it turned out to just be more consistent and aggressive. Web slinging Spider-Man off of a pigeon is really fun, too!

Absolutely one of my favorite shinies. I’ve got a shiny Doublade in Sword that I got from the Max Raid dens and I was so happy when it showed up!

I stepped out to pick up dinner and by the time I got back home, you couldn’t see out the windshield it was raining so hard
