It brings great joy to me when I see here on Bluesky how much my fellow vegans and animal lovers enjoy life and the extraordinary work they are doing to save, protect and care for all our animal friends. If we could harness all that joy and power, we could change the world.

Human hunger for blood & flesh remains one of the principal reasons why we cannot evolve to a higher plane of existence.
There is no future in cruelty. We must move beyond this to a more enlightened level. Only then will peace & coexistence come to all species.

Killing animals like this beautiful lamb is an act of abhorrent cowardice. Lambs are innocent babies. They love to play and have fun. Then, suddenly, they find themselves in the hell of an abattoir and are being killed weltering in their own blood.

5.9 million donkeys are killed each year for their skins and penises. The Chinese make Ejiao from the skins for 'medicines' & beauty creams. Penises are made into 'virility potions'. Killing these animals, especially for such frivolous reasons, is madness.

When we touch a life, we become part of that life, which is why it's important to be with animals. Being part of their lives, even if it's not close up, means we have greater empathy for them. Love and empathy mean understanding. And if we understand animals, we rarely harm them.
