Here for cats, sports (go Lions, Tigers), travel, music.
Michigander spending cold months in Florida.

Ooh-woo, I'm a rebel just for kicks, now
I been feeling it since 1956, now
Might be over now, but I feel it still
This just in: Art Schlichter has put down a bet that he is in the top 3 for this category.

That may be the worst 12 month period. But for a general period of suckiness, Detroit had a good run (bad run?). Record setting bad performances by the Tigers and Lions in the 200Xs.

BTW, I suspect he would have been a decent QB if had been brought along properly.

He was given no time to develop, starting in the 3rd game of his rookie season. It may be illuminating to compare Joey's first 3 years in the NFL compared to Jordan Love's start.

I don't know how much this guy weighed games played. It may even have been before JaMarcus played.

He finally decided to leave the trap.

But those guys didn't do much damage. To be the worst, you had to be good enough to play a lot of games but bad enough that you didn't win. Anyway, Joey was his pick for worst all-time QB.

I agree about Leaf. Harrington came to mind because of his Detroit years.

Someone did a study on who was the worse QB of all time. Games played was a big factor. From memory, he said there are guys who came off the bench, threw an INT on their first play and never got another chance.

It's better to be lucky than good.

You might end up with a Tony Mandarich but it seems those types of busts are far rarer on the line than with QB.

I've thought that if I had to rebuild a team (something that Detroiter think about often), my first round pick would be on the line, either offense or defense, depending on the players available. I'd look at Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia. 2nd round would be the other side of the line.

You might think you're getting Peyton Manning but end up with Joey Harrington.

Nice birdie.

I'm a Packers fan, at least for Saturday.

Nice job on the birdie.

All I have to say is that I'm counting on the Pack beating the Bears.

Of course. The utmost.

(I like your sense of humor)
