Ok, maybe the Minecraft dlc in Sonic Racing Crossworlds is pretty good, actually

this is incredible

We've known for a while that Nintendo wants to do more than just games. It's not weird to see them do animated shorts with their IPs. And the way this one was handled, it got plenty more people looking at it and talking about it than if they had included Pikmin from the start.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I really don't think this Pikmin short is anything more than just an animated short by Nintendo Pictures. I don't get any vibe there's a tease for a game or bigger announcement.

And animation isn't "pointless" because it isn't trying to sell you a specific product.

Take this time to really go and appreciate just how many new variations of songs are added in the remake. Different battle themes for each area yeah, but even like different songs in Rogueport for being in different buildings, the progressive Thousand Year Door chamber, partner themes, etc.

She's specifically described as a "chamberlain who attends Princess Zelda"

Yeah, I was near certain that's what we were going to see. Surprised they aren't the heroes who's names were honored by the Divine Beasts. Kind of weird.

I'm really hopeful that this game will do what Tears of the Kingdom failed to do: make me care about these ancient sages.

From what we've seen from trailers and these short descriptions alone, we already have more characterizations of them than we did before.

Nintendo revealed the English names of all the Sages in Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment:

- Qia, Zora Queen
- Raphica, Rito Leader
- Agraston, Goron Chief
- Ardi, Gerudo Warrior

Our Sage of Lightning is Ardi the Gerudo!

The phrasing of her character description makes it clear she does NOT agree with Ganondorf's leadership or direction, and we'll see what ends up being her breaking point to no longer follow him or Gerudo law.

Now Raphica the Rito.

We'll likely see the Gerudo named in about 25min, then Zelda's handmaiden in about 55min.
